Youth   (and Young Adults)
Ministry Isn’t Getting Any Easier – Even if You Employ Someone!

There are so many competing demands from a wide range of stakeholders. So many approaches and options. So many questions.
If you don’t have any youth work then where do you even begin?
Imagine a line/ a continuum between two extremes – where would you like your ministry to be compared with where it actually is?

  • Entertainment based —————————————————- Faith Focussed.
  • Program Dependent —————————————————– Relational.
  • Numbers driven ———————————————————– Depth.
  • Paid Staff ——————————————————————– Volunteers.
  • Outreach ——————————————————————– Church Families.

Do you know the best way to make the changes you would want?

Follow the example of successful athletes. All of them use the services of a coach – a brain to pick, and ear to listen and a push in the right direction.

Nigel is a veteran youth worker with over 25 years experience from a church voluntary youth leader to a full-time Youth for Christ Director; a Chaplain in a Young Offenders Institution to a Christian College – including mentoring and coaching scores of young people and many youth leaders along the way. He is a published author of parenting books as well as a competent, engaging speaker – whether to a large crowd (1000+) or training a small group.

Nigel has worked with both large and small from a wide range of denominations, helping them establish and grow their youth ministry, advised them on staff employment. Coached existing youth leaders as well as provided training.
